The Concept of "City Pilgrims": Rediscovering Love for Local Culture

The "City Pilgrims" collection invites us to reconnect with local culture through visits to cultural institutions like museums and galleries, as well as city strolling experiences that highlight urban architecture, local cuisine, and traditional beverages. The collection aims to inspire the younger generation to appreciate and fall in love with Indonesia’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.

This collaboration extends beyond clothing design to include custom fabric patterns created by Agra Satria. The collection draws inspiration from the Truntum batik motif, which tells the story of Ratu Kencana, who sought to regain the love of Sunan Pakubuwono III by creating a batik pattern featuring stars and tanjung flowers. This motif aligns perfectly with the collection’s message: encouraging young people to rediscover and celebrate Indonesian culture.
